Mohammad Reza Sajadi, PhD Fellow at The Intervention Centre, was runner up in Inven2's Idea Price 2022.  The project name is "Smart TransEsophageal Echocardiography Robot- STEER". Sajadi is member of a research group lead by professor Ole Jakob Elle. Other members of the reseach group are dr. Henrik Brun, and Kim Mathiassen. In the STEER project a robot platform that performs trans esophageal ecchocardiography (TEE) investigation  is developed. 

Matthias Lippert, MD and PhD Fellow at The Intervention Centre was awarded best abstract price at the annual Autumn meeting in Norsk Cardiologisk Selskap in 2022. He presented validation of artificial intelligence based mixed reality holograms in congential heart failure. In his project, supervised by dr Henrik Brun, Matthias Lippert focus on how new technologies affects decision making in multidisciplinary team meetings. At the Intervention Centre a work group lead by professor Ole Jakob Elle develops artificial intelligence based algorithms to explore how they can be implemented to support future patient treatments.
