Wireless transmission of a full HD video from an in-body transmitter to a on-body receiver

On October 13 2011, the researchers from the Oslo University Hospital, Norway and the National Institute of ICT (NICT), Japan demonstrated that a full HD video transmission from a in-body transmitter to a on-body receiver using the ultra wideband (UWB) technology. The demonstration is part of the research in the Melody Project on the design and development of the next generation SmartPill system.
